Sustainable, luxury cakes using ingredients from the South West
There is no point having a stunning cake which uses terrible ingredients and tastes the pits. Each cake is not only made using the finest ingredients and seasonal fillings, but each recipe has been perfected to ensure you receive a cake to remember and one your guests won't forget in a hurry!
The first 5 flavours make up my classic range and are available to try all year round. The last 4 are seasonal and will switch in the spring to more fruity and fresh flavours.

A deliciously moist almond sponge filled with layers of almond buttercream and local cherry jam.
Lemon

Lemon infused cake flecked with zesty lemon, with alternate layers of lemon curd and Dorset raspberry Jam.
Chocolate

Salted Caramel
Rich 70% cocoa Belgian chocolate cake with layers of vanilla bean buttercream and salted caramel.
White Chocolate

Deliciously moist white chocolate mud cake filled with layers of fluffy vanilla buttercream and tart raspberry jam.
Dorset Apple

Moist apple cake delicately spiced with cinnamon buttercream and a blackberry jam

Soft carrot cake delicately spiced with cinnamon and filled with layers of vanilla cream cheese buttercream.

Sustainable baking
I am always keen to make sustainable switches in my business. Here are a few delicious changes which not only affect my environmental impact, but make them blooming delicious .

Whenever possible I use seasonal fruit for my fillings. Strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are all from British farms. The blackberries are foraged by my Diamond team. I love using Dorset jams .

I use delicious organic white chocolate in my cakes! All cakes have a yummy white chocolate ganache coating for added stability and to make it extra tasty. Both the chocolate and the cocoa I use are Fairtrade.

I use plant based cream for our ganache to lower the amount of dairy I'm using. The milk in my recipes is organic.
Sustainable taster Boxes
As part of your cake experience, you will receive one of my taster boxes to help you choose your cake flavours.
Anyone booking a cake over the value of £300 will receive a complimentary taster box.
Each box contains 5 slices of delicious cake in your chosen flavours and some tasty shortbread iced gems.
But what makes my cake sample boxes special?
. My boxes are fully recyclable and made from partially recycled materials from The Tiny Box co
. The ribbon is made from recycled fabrics.
. The pressed flower wax seal is actually a magnet.
. The cakes are made with British ingredients and seasonal fruit.
. The plastic surrounding the cakes is compostable, as is the tape securing it.
. The teabags by Clipper tea are plastic free and compostable.
. My business cards are printed by The Sustainable Print co on recycled card using eco ink.
. My thermal postal packaging is made with sustainable sheep wool and recyclable plastic.
Extra Information
A couple of my seasonal flavours need a little bit more care and attention when it comes to their finishes. They are definitely worth the extra precautions. No autumn/winter wedding would be complete without one of the spiced options.

This flavour will need to have a full ganache covering or be fondant covered. Its such a deliciously soft sponge it needs the extra stability
Sticky Toffee Pudding *
This flavour will also need to have a full ganache covering or be fondant covered to give it rigidity
Rich Fruit Cake**
A rich, moist fruit cake, infused with brandy or rum and covered in a natural marzipan.
Variation – Why not try a Caribbean alternative with coconut rum and added pineapple or how about Amaretto with additional cherries for a bake well like flavour, Yum!
** Due to the additional ingredients that go into a rich fruit cake, depending on the size, an additional charge may be incurred.
All cakes and bakes are made in a kitchen where ingredients such as flour and nuts are in constant use, so although we are more than happy to accommodate intolerances, we unfortunately can not make allergy free cakes.

Ah, Biscuits
Having biscuits as your wedding favours or party gifts is a great sustainable way to ensure you won't be giving something which may be left behind! Who would turn down a delicious biscuit! They can even be personalised with individual names to act as name places for weddings or for the members of your event. Perfect little way to tick off two things from the wedding planning list.
Biscuit Flavours
All butter shortbread - Heavenly vanilla or almond, Zesty lemon, Spicy cinnamon, Chocolate and Lime or even with a hint of Chilli.
Vegan Biscuits - Deeply vanilla with a hint of almond, Zesty lemon, Spicy cinnamon or Tempting Chocolate.
